GitHub intel

If a bio links a GitHub, LENS reads the public profile, the repos, the account age and the activity, and shows whether the "open source" claim holds up.

Checking the code claim

"Fully open source, audited, doxxed dev" is one of the most common lines in a bio, and one of the easiest to fake with an empty account created last week. LENS reads the linked GitHub the same way it reads a wallet: how old is the account, what is actually in the repos, and is there real, sustained activity, or one empty placeholder pushed the day before launch.

Why it belongs next to the on-chain read

Code credibility and on-chain behavior together give a fuller picture of a builder than either alone. A dev with a real, active GitHub and a clean deploy history is a genuinely different prospect from an anonymous wallet with a freshly minted repo.
